Listen Listen is designed to utilize the Carlson BRx6+, BRx7, and RTk5 GNSS receivers. All you need is an internet connection at both GPS base and rover. SIM card is the data communication conduit of choice. There is no need for a static IP or complicated setup parameters. You simply enter one 4-digit port number at the base and rover in Carlson SurvPC, and you’re ready to survey
Listen Listen Capabilities
Many RTK GPS receivers operate on traditional radio communications, e.g. UHF or Spread Spectrum, which operate within < 1.5 miles from a single GNSS base station. Some projects require longer single baselines given a larger project scope - problem solved. Listen Listen has been validated to work up to a 30 mile range from GPS base, without additional equipment, cumbersome batteries, antennas, or repeaters, while maintaining solid Hrms & Vrms results. Where most RTK networks fall flat on vertical accuracy, Listen Listen shores up vertical accuracy within survey grade standards
Furthermore, Listen Listen is compatible with Carlson SurvPC or SurvCE version 6.17 or newer. The service is simple to connect and manage. Unlimited rovers can be connected to one single Carlson GNSS base receiver, which cuts down on additional RTK correction subscriptions and ancillary equipment costs
