We designed this service exclusively to utilize the Carlson BRx6+, BRx7, and RTk5 receivers with intuitive setup. All you need is an internet connection at both the base and the rover. A data-only SIM card provides reliable service via RTK Mobile, AT&T, or T-Mobile. RTK Mobile data plans operate on all 3 major U.S. cell networks at half the cost of national carriers. There is no need for a static IP or complicated setup parameters. You simply enter one 4-digit port number at the base and rover in Carlson SurvPC, and you’re ready to survey.
Listen Listen Capabilities
Many RTK GNSS systems operate on traditional radio communications, e.g. UHF or Spread Spectrum, which operate within < 1.5 miles from a single GNSS base. Some projects require longer single baselines given a larger project scope. Listen Listen has been validated to work up to 30 mile baseline, without additional equipment, cumbersome batteries, antennas, or repeaters, while maintaining solid Hrms & Vrms results.
Furthermore, Listen Listen is compatible with Carlson SurvPC or SurvCE version 6.17 or newer. The service is simple to connect and manage. Unlimited rovers can be connected to one single Carlson GPS base receiver, which cuts down on additional VRS subscriptions and ancillary equipment costs.
